Double room:
£665pcm

One double room with king size bed in a Jericho flat is up for grabs as our current housemate is moving away.

THE ROOM:
- Available now (May) until August with an option to renew in September.
- £665 per month, plus bills.
- King size bed
- Comes fully furnished with bed, desk, nightstand, lamp and built-in wardrobes.

THE FLAT:
- This is a 3 bedroom flat that is spacious and light, recently refurbished (in August) to a high standard
- Managed by Lucy Properties.
- The flat comprises a main entrance hall with storage, a living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. There is a door separating the bedrooms and bathroom from the other common areas of the house.
- We’re on the third floor, with great views across Oxford from the balcony.
- The building has a small patio, two bicycle parking spots and elevator.
- 15 minute walk to the city centre, 10 minute walk to the train station and 5 minutes to Port Meadow. All of Jericho's restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets are just steps away.
- On-street parking is available, so you can apply for a permit.

THE HOUSEMATES:
Unfortunately one of the housemates will be moving out so he'll be vacating one room.
You would be sharing with Marta and Keeley, two postgrad students, who currently occupy the flat.
Marta is a second year PhD student studying neuroscience at Oxford and Keeley is working in Oxford while studying part time at Oxford Brookes.
Both are organised and tidy and enjoy cooking, going out for walks around the city, going for meals and drinks with friends and playing sports but are also quite chilled and like to watch TV series and movies.
We keep a weekly cleaning rota to maintain the flat in top shape!

THE BILLS:
May to August would be sublet by me (Timmy), so you would take my room until August and then take over the contract in September if you wish, paying a deposit (£700) which would be refunded at the end of your tenancy.
The bills would include water, Sky TV and broadband and electricity (plus Council Tax if you are a professional). This is roughly around £75 per month, per person. Slightly higher in the winter months when we use more electricity with heating.

YOU:
We are looking for nice, friendly people who would help keep the apartment in a nice shape and environment. Marta and Keeley are very relaxed and get along with everyone and so would prefer someone similar. After many years of house-sharing we have learned the importance of respecting each other and respecting the common areas we share.

If this sounds like the kind of place you are looking for, please get in touch and tell us something about yourself. We look forward to hearing from you!

VIEWINGS:
We will hold viewings at flexible times from now (20th May). Please send us a message and get in touch to schedule a Zoom viewing or a socially distant viewing.
