The Room:

A very nice, quiet, recently refurbished room is available from the beginning of September.

It is furnished with a desk, a chest of drawers, a bookshelf, a wardrobe, a single bed, and three chairs.

Room size is 10'3'' X 11'4'' (3.12m X 3.45m).

First floor. A south facing window overlooking a garden.

Bed linen and towels are supplied. Additional pillows, duvets are available on request.

The House:

A bathroom (equipped with a bathtub with shower over it, a toilet, a bidet, a wash basin, and a heated towel rail) is shared by no more than three people.

There is a modern kitchenette and an old, still 1950s style, kitchen (probably it won't suit people with modernist taste, but those who appreciate historic features and vintage character, might like it). The lodger may use any of them.

Fridge-freezer, microwave ovens, cookers, an oven, crockery, cutlery, utensils.

Washing machine, iron with ironing board, hairdryer.

The living room has a large screen TV.

Gas central heating. Double glazing. Wireless Internet.

If needed, a sewing machine could be available.

Outdoor space: A small secluded garden with lawn, flowerbeds, shrubs, a small pond with a fountain, a garden swing. Good for outdoor exercises, sunbathing, spending time in nature. A patio with a table and chairs, is directly accessible from the downstairs kitchen. A unique feature; the outdoor tub which could be used for cooling down during the summer heatwaves, as well as a relaxing hot tub.

Location:

Very central, a few steps away from the Magdalen Bridge. Walking distance to the city centre (~10min).

Very close to the house are a lot of shops, supermarkets, a post office. Also very close are a cinema theatre, restaurants, cafés, hairdressers.

A stop for city buses is a few steps from the house. Coaches to London and to large airports are just a 2 minutes walk away from the house.

Rent:

The rent is £200 per week (negotiable), and can be calculated pro rata fore the exact number of days of the stay.

A friendly person is wanted for the room; who'd be sociable and polite with others in the house. Considerate and respectful, who'd be happy to keep common areas reasonably clean and tidy.

The room is strictly for one person. No smoking indoors.

It would be good if she could move as soon as possible in early September.
