Lovely room available from mid Sept for single, professional female.

The room comes fully furnished with a black out blind, TV ariel point and has a lock on the door.

The house is a short 5-10 minute walk from the town area of Newton Abbot and is close to the leisure centre. Parking is available on the road, no permit required.


We are looking for a quiet, easy going, considerate housemate who must also be clean, tidy and trustworthy.


The three of us here are also all of the above, as well as very friendly and welcoming but also very independent.

We have two small dogs, so a dog/animal lover is a must.

The house is full of period features and really is a lovely place to live.

We do not generally have people stay over and we are well spaced out over three floors.

Although the room does not have an ensuit, there are three bathrooms in the house with two of us having our own toilets.

In the kitchen we have a large double oven, two sinks and two fridges and freezers to share so there are plenty of kitchen facilities for us all.


I have a small desk and chair that can go in the room if needed. Bedding is not provided. A wood burner is going to be installed in the room shorlty.
