I am offering a spacious first floor double room with king size bed and ensuite bathroom, set in a clean, tidy and organised mid-terraced home in a quiet neighbourhood - ideally suited either for a full-time student, university employee or a professional who may need somewhere to stay near Reading University's main campus.

The house is a five minute walk from the University campus in a much sought-after area with local pub, shopping and food take-away facilities.

The room is fully furnished with a king size bed, large wardrobe, chest of draws, TV and laundry basket. A desk and office chair are available if required.

The occupant will have access to commonly shared amenities which include a living room, conservatory, garden and a kitchen with kettle, microwave, cooker, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.

A washing machine/dryer is also available to use and there is super-fast free wi-fi broadband service throughout the house.

Communal areas are always kept tidy. and the house is professionally cleaned every two weeks. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly with one male PhD student and one male working professional. The landlord keeps a spare room for himself but lives overseas most of the year.

For car owners, free on-road parking is available and access to bus route (no. 3 and 10) is just a minute away from the front door step, providing a 15-20 minute bus ride to The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading town centre and railway station.

All of the above comes at an all-in price of £650 per month and includes all electric, gas, water and wi-fi bills.

The room is available from 26th March 2024. Rent is payable on a monthly basis. I am ideally looking for a minimum three month commitment, which can be extended indefinitely if all parties agree.
