I am a professional working at the University of St Andrews Careers Centre. As a live in landlord, I am looking for a lodger to share a two-bedroom terrace house within walking distance (10 mins) from the town centre.
Ideally suited for a tidy, relaxed professional but also considering Postgrad students (PGT/PGR/PhD).
There is plenty of shared space, recently refurbished, fully furnished, front/back gardens and parking space. 1 min walk to Aldi/M&S, 3 mins walk to SPAR (with Post Office), 6 mins walk to Morrisons.
The house has a bright and tidy living room with a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen (4-burner gas cooker, gas oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, cookware and cutleries etc.) and a bright clean bathroom equipped with a new shower. Gas central heating and full double glazing throughout.
The quiet double bedroom to the front (please see photos) is 12.8 square meters with ample storage. Furnished with a desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers, double bed and a bedside cabinet. The new double mattress, duvet, pillows, and beddings were purchased last summer.
You will enjoy the great view from your bedroom window as a well-maintained park is right down to your window on the first floor (please see photos).
Bills (and Council Tax for non-students) to be split between tenants (my lodger and myself): utility bills work out at about £58.66 per person/month, Council Tax (band C) works out at £64.44 per person/month. Broadband is available.
