A sociable, friendly and welcoming house that feels homely!
A spacious double bedroom in a 2-bedroom house in Brixton/Stockwell/Oval (in between the three, but the nearest station is Oval). The bedroom comes unfurnished and large enough to fit in a lot of furniture. Downstairs comes furnished with two sofas, an armchair and a kitchen table and bench for homeworking.
The house comes with a part-time gorgeous long-haired dachshund called Stilton. He is very friendly, quiet and well-behaved. He gets on well with other dogs so if you have a dog he would love to meet them.
I (Rachael) am a friendly and sociable person and I spend my free time making ceramics, drawing and exercising. I’m a very clean and considerate person and have always made friends with those I’ve lived with. I’m currently completing a doctorate in child psychotherapy in the NHS. I work out of the house Monday-Friday so if you work from home you will have the space to yourself to work. As I’m a student, council tax for the proper is a bit cheaper and we split it 50/50 (it is Band D, discounted at 25%).
The landlord to the house is a private company and I’ve really enjoyed living here because they allow lots of ownership of the property, letting us paint walls, hang artwork and have pets for example. They also fix things promptly and the property is maintained to a high standard with very little involvement from them (unless it’s needed).
LGBTQI+ friendly.
Looking forward to meeting you!
