Cosy double room in Zone 2 (Denmark Hill), ideal for Monday-Friday lets, although flexible and open to other options depending on how life progresses and the agreements between us.
Good links to Central London by train and Windrush line (10 minutes to Victoria, 12 minutes to Blackfriars, 13 minutes to Canada Water), as well as bus links (under 20 minutes to Oval, Kennington, Brixton, and Peckham, 25 minutes directly to London Bridge or Battersea).
We are currently a household of two girls (ages 27 and 31, both working in policy and public health research in Westminster), and one cat (age 3, unemployed). We both tend to work from home about 2-3 days a week, either from our own rooms or from the dining room.
We would all be sharing the living/dining room, a separate kitchen, and the bathroom/shower.
The room I am looking to rent out comprises a double bed, wardrobe, bookcase, small desk and armchair - the room is currently just being used as storage, so you might have to exercise some imagination in the pictures to see it without the clutter of boxes, cushions, and plants - this would, of course, all be cleared out by the time you move in.
We are not a party house, although we are fairly social and watch films or sometimes cook dinner together. You'd be welcome to have guests over as long as you let us know beforehand and they were respectful of house rules.
We're also fairly flexible and open to other short-term let ideas - but basically want to ensure that our flat does not start to feel overly cramped with 3 people in it!
Sorry, the room is no longer available
