Fully inclusive of all bills this is a lovely, spacious, sunny bedroom with a new (2 year old!) double bed, a large desk, antique chest of drawers and built in wardrobe (with lighting).. The house has two other female residents and the bathroom is shared with just one of us as the third person has their own ensuite bathroom.

The lounge has a sofa, dining table and chairs and flat screen wall mounted TV, it also has a door leading out into the garden. The garden is small but south facing so gets lots of sun.

The kitchen is new and fully equipped with gas oven and hob, an American fridge/freezer (so plenty of shelves each!), microwave, toaster and all general equipment (pots, pans plates etc). There is a separate utility area that houses the brand new washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom is off of the utility room and houses the new boiler for constant hot water and central heating. The house also has new double glazing throughout.

All bills are included and there is high speed fibre optic broadband. .

The house is a Victorian terrace property that, as you can probably tell has been updated and renovated.

The house has ideal access to the town centre, Royal Berkshire Hospital and university campus (London Rd & Whiteknights). The Oracle centre/Riverside with the 11 screen Vue cinema and extensive range of restaurants, shops cafes etc is a 3-4 minute walk (depending how fast you walk). There is a Tesco-local 2 minutes away and the bus stop for Whiteknights campus are also located there. Walking to Reading station takes 15 mins. Whiteknights campus is a 15/20 min walk (sports hall corner). London Road campus is 5 minute walk and RBH 10 mins.

Current residents both female.: One has been lived here over three years and is completing a science PHD at Reading University. The second - professional at Royal Berkshire Hospital who moved in Sept 2018. We both live quite quietly as we study/work long hours. Due to COVID we are not having other people visiting or 'staying over', preferring to keep any socialising outside of the house.. This keeps it a nice safe space for everyone. We expect this to be respected by anyone new.

There is one resident dog here already and we're happy to have another dog move in too but please no cats, rodents or reptiles!

We are looking to find a pleasant, considerate, articulate person for the third bedroo.. It is important that the concept of cleaning and taking care of things is on your radar. The house has been redecorated in the last year and the wooden floors sanded and re-varhished. We want to find someone who appreciates nice surroundings and uses them respectfully.. Floors do not clean themselves......... sinks left full of clutter mean someone else cannot wash up or prepare their things, it's just about respectful use of the shared spaces. If you have no idea what to do with bleach or have yet to grasp the workings of a duster, its probably better to look elsewhere!
