I’m a 45 year old doctor with a room to rent in my flat in Marylebone. I work in London but live with my wife and family in Oxford - I’m based the flat maximum half of the week so there’s lots of time when my flatmate has it to themselves. In a perfect world I am looking for a flatmate who commutes and uses the flat as a part time base rather than as their only home - this is the way I use it and it works well.

The room is a double with king size bed and built in storage plus a desk. There’s a shared shower room, kitchen and living room with balcony. It’s on the fourth floor of a quiet 1950s block, looking over parks on both sides - postcode is W1U . The rent is 1600 per month with all bills included, one month rent as deposit. I’ve had great flatmates on corporate lets and several have become good friends.
