For a professional Female I have 2 large double bedrooms in an extended modern house that I'm renting out as one for those needing to occasionally work from home as office space or extra wardrobe space. 1 bedroom has standalone triple and double pine wardrobe, 2 pine chest of drawers and 2 pine bedside cabinets as well as a pine king size bed. The other bedroom/office has fully fitted wardrobes down one side a double bed and bedside cabinets.
The house has all the mod cons you would expect and is extremely warm in winter. There are 2 fridge freezers in the house and plenty of kitchen cupboard space.
The accommodation has super fast fibre broadband 300mbps, sky tv (sports and movies) Netflix, amazon prime video, Apple TV, dishwasher, 2 fridge freezers, double oven, electric hob and washing machine.
There are 2 living rooms in the house as well as a large dining room which you are able to use and watch tv in if you can get in before my daughter :-)
There are a total of 3 bathrooms in the house. The main house bathroom is exclusively for you to use and is right next to the bedroom advertised. This bathroom has a shower, basin, toilet, lots of storage space and a door lock for your own privacy.
There is a fully enclosed south facing back garden for you to make use of should you wish to do so.
This is a family house and as such no overnight guests are allowed as I have a chilled teenage daughter who lives with me half of the time. Therefore a ‘non’ party going wild night out type of person will be better suited. Live and let live with respect for each other.
You can park your car in the street and there is no charge or tickets required to do this for the local council.
This is a very safe area of York to live in, I am at the end of a cul de sac, I’m not over looked at the back of the house and it’s very quiet/peaceful.
I can provide references from previous lodgers for those who would like some more re-assurance!! There is no catch in the price, it’s inexpensive as I want someone who will appreciate what they are getting and look after it. There will be some additional gas/electric bills and due to fluctuating price rises I’m not going to predict how much it will be exactly but I’ve just being charging £53 extra a month to my previous lodger and expect it to be less than that now prices are coming down.
