Looking for 1 tenant to live in a house of 3 boys and 3 girls. We are going into second year at University of York, ages ranging from 19-20. Had a last minute drop out so any student is welcome to join! (MUST be a student, below age 25 if possible)
The property has 3 floors and contains 4 en suites which are already occupied, meaning you would only be sharing one bathroom (shower& bath) with 2 people as well as 2 toilets between the 3 of you (one upstairs and one downstairs).
Rent is about £179 per week, without bills included. The wifi is expected to be around £5.60 per month, and water around £8.50. Gas and electricity is a fixed contract with octopus energy- can’t put an exact price on it yet.
The room available is a large room located on the bottom floor, close to the kitchen/ living room area as well as the toilet. It contains carpeted flooring, an electric fireplace, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. A desk can be added at request of the landlord. Lots of space for storage. The house contains a washing machine, dish washer and tumble dryer.
Very nice and modern property located 15 minutes from Campus East of University of York, and 50 min walk to YSJ (8 min drive/ 27 min bus). Property is a 10 minute drive to the city centre of York (45 min walk/ 20 min bus). Bus stop right outside the house.
£825 deposit must be payed to Haus properties, as well as the first month of rent asap. Guarantor details need to be completed, and once documents are signed, you are free to move in asap. Tenancy agreement ends 19th August 2025.
