Six bedroom student house looking for a sixth tenant to replace me as I’m deferring my year at University. This house has the best bunch of housemates I’ve ever had and I’m devastated to leave them. They’re friendly, sociable and clean, honestly the best people you could ask for. They enjoy a mixture of staying in and watching films occasionally going out and are very welcoming (I moved in over Summer last year and they welcomed me in like I’d been there all along)
The house is in Badger Hill which is a 5min walk to Campus East and a 10-15min walk to Campus West. It’s also a 2-5mins walk from two different bus routes which is very convenient for going into town/getting the bus to west if you don’t want to walk.
The landlords are Keith and Julie from Edgell Properties and are again the best I’ve ever had. They were awarded first place at the York Good Landlord Awards 2024 in the categories ‘Best Landlord’ and ‘Officers Pick’. They’ve also won various other awards in the past, including the York RLA Landlord of the Year as well as others for Outstanding Service and Most Responsive Landlord.
They help with any issue so quickly no matter how big or small, and are such truly lovely people.
