Beautiful and spacious house with a big kitchen/living room area overlooking a huge, south-facing garden with apple and damson trees, perfect if you like gardening or just simply like spending time outside in the garden. There is also a spare single room which can be used for guests, upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room.

The bedroom is light and airy with big windows. It's at the back of the house and is furnished with a double bed and a huge amount of built-in cupboard/wardrobe space. There is more storage space in the spare room, loft and garage. The garage is good to store bikes etc.

A double bed will be provided by the landlord. The current tenant has been using a fold up bed to create extra space, she can sell this on to you if you also prefer this set-up.

The house is in Merton Park, a very green area with lovely parks nearby, including Morden Hall Park (National Trust) at the end of the road.

Morden (Northern Line) is 10 minutes walk, Wimbledon station (main line into Waterloo and District line) is 15/20 minutes walk, and South Merton rail station (Thameslink into Blackfriars) is 5 minutes walk away. Merton Park tram stop is also only a few minutes' walk.

If driving, the house is 5 minutes from the A3 and 20 minutes from the M25.

Parking is available in the street (resident permits apply). Bills come to £150 a month (since the hike in energy charges) including fast broadband.

ABOUT US

There are 4 of us in the house, a mix of ages and nationalities. Ada (27, Czech-Vietnamese) works in hospitality, Agata (31, Polish) is a receptionist and Karin (48, Dutch), works in translation.

We're looking for somebody friendly, easy-going & tidy, who's happy to do their fair share of house jobs like cleaning. We have two cats, so liking cats is a must.
