This is a double bedroom in a 3 bedroom property on a quiet street close to city centre, leisure centre/park and railway station. There is usually sufficient roadside parking available. In terms of location it is particularly suited for people who work in Guildford Addlestone and Byfleet.
Gas, electricity & water use are shared, but council tax & broadband are included in the basic monthly rent. Electricity is largely generated by solar panels.
This house has a living room & dining area which will be a shared space. The same applies to kitchen, bathroom, downstairs toilet and rearside garden. The double bedroom is approx. 18m2, with a double bed, desk and chair and wardrobe. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. There is a hot-fan oven and large cooker.
The garden in the back will be nice to chill out on Summer evenings.
We recently finished a major renovation and there is still some ongoing minor diy/home improvement.
What you will want to know about me;
I am a working professional, generally working long hours in healthcare. I am originally from the Netherlands, well travelled and lived several years in Malaysia. I am overall very sociable but do a lot of work/study in the evenings. I am well-travelled and broad-minded and seem to get along with most people. I have a thing for healthy and good food, so the kitchen is well equipped and well-used.
I am also a father to 2 young children aged 10 and 13, who spend 1 out of 2 weekends and 1-2 Weekdays per 2 weeks with me (when they stay overnight).
The other housemate is our cat Suki.
What I am looking for;
Someone who is flexible with a sense of humour and who knows that the earth isn't flat and the world is a village. Needless to say, someone who won't mind my children staying over in the weekend. Working (female) professional is preferred and references are expected.
I am looking for a bit longer term guests for more stability. It will be available from my last booking onwards.
