Hello,

I'm looking for a housemate to share my 2 bed, newly refurbished terraced house. It has a very cosy feel and I keep it clean and tidy but not overbearingly so.

It's located on a quiet cul-de-sac and there is always space for on-street parking if you have a car. There is a narrow backyard to store a bike, which backs on to a gated back alley. It's less than 20 minutes walk to the centre of town and about 12 mins to the train station, with regular buses from around the corner too.

The house is completely furnished, including the large double room advertised, which comes with a large wardrobe and chest of draws, extra clothes rail, double bed with 2 bedside cabinets and lamp, mirror and laundry basket. The mattress is also new and all bedding is provided unless you would like to bring your own. The door of the room is lockable.

The bathroom and kitchen are newly fitted. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and is fully kitted out with all necessary utensils, gadgets and more! There's lots of cupboard space if you would like to bring your own stuff too.

The house also comes with super fast broadband with a baslc Virgin Media package but I have NowTV and Netflix for all of your film, documentary and boxset binging needs.

About me...

I'm a sociable and really easy-going guy and very easy to live with. I work as a full time manager in the centre of town and have been with the company for 14 years. If you're new to York, I'd happily take the time to show you all the great places that the city has to offer. I enjoy eating out and meeting up with friends for drinks but also like my quiet time at home. I very occasionally have a few people around and I'm happy for my new housemate to have visitors around/stay over on occasion.
