Double room for rent in large, two bed house. The room has a double bed, bedside cabinet, very large chest of drawers, large mirror and a storage unit. The occupant of this room also has their own small study room which has a desk, chair and large wardrobe in it. There's also the option to pay a bit less in rent if you don't want the separate study room.

There’s a large dining kitchen and also a separate living room. The kitchen has dishwasher, washer/dryer and all the usual stuff! There's an enclosed back garden with a lockable shed. The shared bathroom has a bath with a gas power shower over it (my bedroom has its own ensuite toilet and sink). The living room has a very large sofa...all as in the photos.

The house was fully refurbished a few years ago with insulation, new boiler and radiators, new electrics, new bathroom, new kitchen, new furniture and new flooring. New everything, more or less.

The house is very close to the Co-op on Hull Rd, so not far to walk to uni or into town. There's a major bus route into the city centre only a few minutes' walk away. There's no driveway but parking on the street is free, though the street is often quite busy because there are a few houses on the street, though there's always a space either on the street or just around the corner. The house is at the end of the terrace and so is usually really quiet and the street is a cul-de-sac so is pretty silent at night.

I'm doing a part-time research master’s at York Uni, but I also work from home part-time and sometimes go away for meetings.

You can see a piano and guitar in the photos but, unfortunately, I can't play either! I had planned to learn, but it never quite happened!

At home I eat mostly vegan or veggie but I sometimes eat meat or fish when I eat out. It doesn't bother me what anyone else's preferences are.
