A friendly, older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them 10 hours’ practical help each week – plus the reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight – in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including picking up shopping, cooking four meals each week, taking out bins, help with light household chores and (if a driver) driving on occasional outings or to appointments, when available.

The accommodation on offer is a beautifully-presented single bedroom furnished with a large built in wardrobe, an armchair and underbed storage, and its own en-suite shower room. The Sharer will have use of the garden (there is a space they could grow vegetables, and use of the kitchen when cooking and eating.

The property is located just 10 minutes’ walk from Stoneleigh Station (South Western Railway to Waterloo approx. 25 mins and buses to Epsom and Kingston) and there is ample off-street parking. The person also has their own car and could potentially put someone on their car insurance for shopping etc.

The person likes their own space and privacy, but is bright and interesting for conversation, and would enjoy an occasional game of Scrabble. This would suit someone who works full-time and has their own interests and enjoys their own space too, but who has enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support.

The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, ideally a confident driver with a clean license.
