This is a unique opportunity to live in a great location in this dynamic city for a reduced rent.

A homeshare arrangement is where you will commit to approx. 10 hours per week of practical help and companionship (no personal care) in exchange for lower costs of living.

The current homeowner is a creative person with interests in writing and the arts who is on a journey of recovery from life-changing burnout and illness and as part of this the home environment needs a big sort out.

The homeowner is looking for some help around the home with regards to routine opening and sorting of mail, newspapers and magazines, light cooking, light household chores, help with IT and some photocopying and filing.

The ideal sharer would have a positive and outgoing personality, gsoh and perhaps a love of books and reading. They can be working full or part time, but must have some time during their week to offer some support.

The sharer will have a double room and is welcome to use the rest of the home including the kitchen, lounge and garden. Please note the home is comfortable but cluttered: the big sort out is why a homeshare is being sought.

Weekly Support Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per week providing companionship, routine opening and sorting of mail, newspapers and magazines, light cooking, light household chores, occasional help with IT/tech and some photocopying and filing.

The house is close to Catford Station and the characterful Catford Centre (star of Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits video). It has excellent transport links into not one but all of the main south London terminals, often without touching the underground.

Previous flatmates have been creatives who were able to start their day with a brisk walk from Charing Cross for the West-end and Mayfair, TV reporters, journalists and civil servants who did the same from Victoria and lawyers and bankers who landed at London Bridge, Cannon Street or Canary Wharf.
