Hello :)
The house I'm told is lovely, spacious, light and airy. The double bedroom for rent has a fireplace and shutters so has a cosy feel. It has a king size bed (and writing desk if you want it).
There are two living rooms over three floors. The kitchen has a dining table. It has a dishwasher and washing machine.
There's a garden and a lovely balcony - which has awesome views of Bristol and you can see the suspension Bridge.
There's one bathroom, opposite (not next to) your potential room. There's a separate loo downstairs. So upstairs bathroom with bath, shower and loo is shared. There is a down loo and sink also.
The bills INCLUDE a cleaner coming round once a week, cleaning the communal areas. I have a dishwasher, large fridge, and a separate freezer.
About me and my housemate:
I often stay at my boyfriend's house, which is just down the road, so it will only feel like there is you and one other living in the house most of the time.
My housemate, is from Hong Kong and has lived with me for about two years. She's lovely, tidy and very respectful and it would be great if we can find a like minded housemate. She's very active and likes the outdoors, running and meeting up with friends. She works in the Finance sector. About me, I like the outdoors, going surfing and catching up with friends. I'm lucky as my family live in Bristol and I have lovely friends of all ages. I'm in my 40s.
Parking /transport links:
There's free parking along the road. We are outside the Ulez.
Bedminster Train Station is a 5 minute walk. It’s 7 min walk to Dalby Avenue, the bus stop which takes you direct to the airport departure entrance - which takes as little as 20 mins on the bus.
The area:
I like living here as its not far to get to the Harbourside and North Street and it's very close to Victoria Park, Windmill Hill City Farm and Bristol Loaf for a good coffee. The nearest pubs that I like are The Rising Sun on Alfred Road and The Victoria on Raymond Road and the Local on North Street.
If you're interested or just want to know more please ask.
My current housemate is moving out in mid to late November. We're currently firming up the date so can be flexible. As advertised this is not a long term rent. It's ideal if youre moving to Bristol and want to get an idea of the city.
