The room is spacious and characterful, with venetian plaster walls, original wooden floors, high ceilings, chandeliers, ornamental fireplace, a very comfortable superking-size bed and small sofa. It has an adjoining bathroom with roll-top bath and hand shower, and plenty of space to relax in a calm and tranquil space.

The house is a lovely historic property overlooking the Floating Harbour/River Avon, within easy reach of Clifton Village, the Nuffield Hospital, the City Centre and Bristol's main business areas.

We're looking for a professional who needs a comfortable Bristol base during the working week and normally returns home at weekends. It would particularly suit someone working in Bristol regularly who wants somewhere that feels more like a home than a weekday hotel.

You'll have use of the fully equipped kitchen inc. Espresso machine / a dedicated mini-fridge / washing machine / tumble dryer. Bedding / towels / wi-fi / bills / cleaning are included. A travel kettle and Meaco fan for the room can be provided.

Available Monday evening to Friday morning. We're also happy to discuss fewer nights if needed. You would be welcome leaving a small bag or case of belongings over the weekend and to store a bike in our cellar.

We are professionals (lawyer / finance), with adult children who mostly live away. We have a small, very friendly and well behaved, dog.
