Beautiful en-suite master bedroom in Lockleaze, with a sunny spacious garden.

I’m looking for a friendly, considerate and reliable housemate who enjoys a respectful, easy-going home and values open, straightforward communication.

You’ll be living with me and my two children (16 & 14), who are here 30 -50% currently. A child-friendly and understanding nature is important. Like most teenagers, they can be lively at times, so it helps to be comfortable with some occasional noise. When they’re not here, the house is very calm and quiet.

The home has a relaxed, homely feel, and I enjoy a friendly connection with the person I live with—occasional chats or sharing a meal if it naturally happens—while also respecting each other’s space and independence.

I keep an early sleep routine (around 10pm onwards), so it works best with someone considerate about noise later at night, as sound carries easily between the rooms. The house is otherwise relaxed and lived-in during the day and evenings.

A small, friendly hypoallergenic dog may be considered, but no cats due to allergies.

No shift workers involving regular late nights or very early starts.

This home would suit someone who enjoys a calm, friendly, respectful environment and is naturally mindful about noise in the late evening, and is comfortable balancing occasional connection with independent living.
It may not suit someone with a frequent late-night social lifestyle or someone looking for a consistently quiet, child-free household.

PS- Please note that, as the room is offered at a reduced rent, there is a possibility that the current Wi-Fi arrangement may change in the future. If this happens, a separate Wi-Fi arrangement may be needed at around £30 per month. This can either be arranged by the lodger or, if preferred, I can arrange it on a monthly rolling basis and pass on the cost.
