The room: a large, light, furnished double with views of countryside and fields for one flatmate. Tastefully furnished with double bed, desk, chair, sitting chair and open wardrobe. Driveway parking space available. There's room outside to store a bike and loft access for bulky suitcases etc. You’ll use a shared bathroom but as there’s a second bathroom upstairs, you’ll have exclusive use of the shower and be the only user of the bathroom in the morning and evenings. There’s a modern Vaillant combi-boiler in the understairs cupboard in the room - it’s quiet, sealed, regularly serviced, gas safety certified (certificate available), with carbon monoxide alarm in the room. Rent includes all bills.

Location: A quiet, friendly, peaceful home in a characterful countryside cottage with easy access to central Bristol and Bristol airport. You’ll enjoy the calm of countryside and nature with ease of access to the city centre. The cottage is a 6 minute walk from the A1 Bristol Airport Flyer bus stop (Dundry Lane), a high frequency service that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with peak services running up to every 8 to 12 minutes between the airport, city centre and Temple Meads station. Subsidised fares for residents.

About the house: Shared kitchen, living room and the conservatory/dining area that backs onto a large garden. The house is the opposite of a party house - we have our own interests and generally go out to socialise. We may cook together from time to time and catch up about our days.

About me: I'm Simone, 50y/o, a live-in landlord, potter and environmental charity worker. I live here with my dog and enjoy being outdoors in woodland with my dog, swimming, travelling, drawing, ceramics and lots of dog walking. I work from home and in the evenings use my home for downtime. I am looking for another friendly, independent person wanting a quiet, peaceful base for 3+ months. I am open to short term (3+ months), longer term and Monday to Friday arrangements.

About you: Would suit someone who's also friendly and active with their own interests and wanting a quiet base. You’ll love dogs! You'll work away from home in an office or other location away from home.
