I rent a gorgeous house right next to Stoke Park and I'm looking for a lovely housemate to rent the top floor bedroom.

*The room*
It's a huge room with a built in desk and wardrobe, a sofa and an en-suite. It has views over the park and velux windows that let in the morning sun. You'll have the whole top floor, while my bedroom and home office are on the middle floor, and the downstairs is communal.

The house has a lovely open-plan kitchen with bifold doors out to the garden, which has been dreamy this summer! In the living room we have a working log fire. The garden gate opens on to Stoke Park and we get gorgeous sunsets from here! We also have a garage with some storage space.

I rent the house from some friends who are living abroad until either 2028 or 2029.

*Location*
Technically lockleaze but right next to Purdown & Stoke park estate.
- 5 min cycle/10 min walk to St Werburghs
- 10 min cycle/20 min walk to Easton
- 15-20 min cycle/40 min walk to the centre

The 24 bus route stops at the bottom of the road.

Aldi, Lidl & big Tesco are round the corner and there's a bakery that delivers to the street every Saturday!

*About me*
I co-parent and my adorable 3yr old son lives with me half the week, but when I'm not parenting I love a sunny pub garden, caipirinhas and karaoke. I also love getting into new crafts - I recently whittled a spoon! I sometimes host pals for a craft club night or board games around the kitchen table. I also play football (badly!) once a week.

*Who I'm looking for*
Someone warm, easygoing, and up for building a proper home, not just a flatshare. You'll have plenty of your own space upstairs to retreat to, but I'd love it if you're also the type who enjoys pottering around the kitchen for a chat, joining in on the odd dinner, or coming out for a drink. It would be nice to live with someone else queer if possible but it's not a must.

I run my own business and work from home most days, so it would probably suit someone who doesn't work from home more than a couple of days a week. Mostly because I'm easily distracted! But I'm flexible and happy to chat through what works for both of us.
