Hi! I’m looking for a female housemate for my spare room on a short-term basis, with the possibility of extending the stay.

A little about me — I’m friendly, easy-going, tidy and sociable. I work full-time and enjoy having a warm, welcoming home. Although I’m not a fancy cook, I love sharing simple meals and cooking for people, so I’d be happy to share a traditional home-cooked meal from back home from time to time! 😊

In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, reading, watching films and documentaries, exploring cafés, going for walks, and recently getting into running. I’d also be happy to show you around Edinburgh, recommend places, go sightseeing, grab a coffee or go for a walk together. At the same time, I really value personal space and privacy.

This is a Muslim household, but I’m welcoming and respectful of people from all backgrounds and religions.

I eat halal only and kindly ask that pork isn’t cooked or stored in the house, mainly because we share kitchen utensils and I’m mindful of cross-contamination. I’m not vegetarian and do eat halal meat, but vegetarian food is absolutely fine too. Similarly, I’d ask for no smoking/vaping, alcohol or drugs in the home.

Cleanliness, respect and a comfortable atmosphere are important to me.
