Self contained single bedroom with en-suite, kitchenette available in Glasgow west end (Jordanhill area).
The room is accessed through the back of the house from a private entrance. The room has a private ensuite shower/ basin/ W. C and a kitchenette area with a Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Fridge, Freezer and hotplate.
The room has a nice view over the garden and the person letting the space has shared use of the decking to sit outside in the garden.
The rest of the house is closed off so we will be living in our own space. I am 45 and live in the house with my 10 year old daughter so looking for quiet, reliable tenant who is looking for a base to study and travel to uni.
There is access and use of a washing machine in the shed outside the house.
University of Glasgow students can catch a Number 3 bus directly to Kelvingrove where the university is located (5 mins walk to/from bus stop). Alternative it takes 15-20 mins to cycle from the house to the University or 8 minutes to drive/ Uber.
Byres road can also be reached easily by catching a number 6 bus directly to Saltoun Street Hillhead (5mins walk to bus stop from house). Here you will find a wide selection of shops, restaurants, cinema and the botanic gardens. Hillhead library is also located here. It has free WiFi, and access to computers, printers, photocopiers, study spaces and is open until 8pm 4 nights a week.
Scotstounhill train station is a 5 min walk away and provides regular direct trains to Partick & SECC/ Finneston area. Partick library has a large study space, free WiFi and access to computers, printers and photocopier. SECC is where the majority of Glasgow’s concerts and events are held. Finnieston is known for artisanal coffee bars and trendy organic restaurants specializing in Scottish meat and seafood. Craft beers and gins are served up at stylish bars, while old-school pubs offer vast whisky selections and traditional folk music sessions.
Scotstoun sports centre is a 10-15min walk away..
