I’ve been living here for over 5 years and absolutely love the flat. We have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one large shared open-plan space with a kitchen, dining area and living room. We also have a communal garden, which is very sought after.
Location:
The location is fantastic - we’re close to Regent’s Park, Marylebone Station, Marylebone High Street, and everything else you might need, including supermarkets, gyms, GPs, etc.
The Flat:
The flat comes fully furnished. The kitchen comes with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The room has a large built-in wardrobe and a bed. There is still some space if you’d like to bring a chest of drawers or clothes rack, for example, although there isn’t enough room for a desk.
Please note that there is currently only one dedicated desk space, in the living room, which we would need to share. Someone who works from the office would therefore be preferred.
Lifestyle:
I love having some quiet me-time to wind down. That being said, I also enjoy having a friend over for a catch-up, and you’d be very welcome to do the same. I’m just not looking for a house-party atmosphere or lots of visitors. The flat is cosy and feels like a real home rather than a party zone. To note, my boyfriend also visits some weekends.
About me:
I moved to London 9 years ago to study and then stayed to work. I work in finance and enjoy going to the gym in the evenings. I love going for walks around the parks and Marylebone at the weekend, as well as seeing my friends. I also travel quite frequently.
Ideal flatmate:
I’m looking to share this space with someone who is kind, respectful, tidy and calm.
Contract:
My current flatmate and I are on the tenancy 50/50, and as she is leaving, we will need to set up a new contract with myself and the new flatmate.
There is a possibility that the agency may ask for a higher rent when we set up the new contract. If that happens, we will need to negotiate the new rent with them and agree on the final amount together.
Please only enquire if your income is at least twice the monthly rent (before bills), as this is likely to be a requirement for the new tenancy.
Bills:
We share Wi-Fi, council tax, water, gas and electricity 50/50.
Viewing:
I’ll be available for viewings from 6pm onwards on weekday evenings and am flexible on weekends.
Please let me know if you have any questions - I’m very happy to answer them! :)
