Hi all.

I have a reasonably sized decent room, which is comfortable, warm and light, for rent at £670 per month all inclusive for the right person. May suit a male more, but all welcome to view and discuss.

The room has a nice feel to it. The windows and insulation have been recently refurbished in the whole block, so warm in winter. Bonus. Everything works well, inc heating, wifi, shower/bath. On first floor and very secure. It is a 1930s build so solid and therefore stays cool in summer too.

The flat has a small kitchen with a balcony, a living room, and everything works fine including heating and shower. It is in a good location. There are local shops around the corner, including a Coop. It is 10 - max 15 minute walk to Woolwich Arsenal station. The Elizabeth Line is then across the road from there. The buses go every 5 mins at peak time down hill to station and the 53 into town and back is 24 hour with a regular service. Woolwich is well connected, with trains, DLR, Thames Clipper and buses (51/53/386 stop 1 minute from the flat) all going regular to London town. 53 goes straight to New Cross Deptford for a lively night out if that floats your boat.

There are decent pubs and restaurants in Woolwich and Plumstead, some decent places to eat. SE18 is a very nice area for green hills and spaces, cycling, running etc. Flat is too small to keep a bicycle but there is a bike shed where I keep mine.

I have a son who stays with me sometimes (we often leave London so not necessarily at home).

I am sociable and enjoy getting out and about, but my job can be demanding (I teach) so need down time.
