Hello ! I am moving into a lovely house at the end of June and am looking for a house mate.

I’m Nat, i enjoy sharing but also like to have my privacy, i found this house and fell in love with it - i love that it has space to create, for art projects, growing veggies, cooking, having people over. Having lived in pokey one beds without a garden for the same rent this felt like a great co-living solution for essentially the same cost.

The house is a four bed (shared between 2) set out over 3 floors and is available to move in from the 20th June (there’s a bit of flexibility) it’s a new tenancy so we’ll have the chance to create the space together.

It is through an agent who is really helpful and we’d both need to be on the contract.

THE ROOM
It’s a beautiful room; a loft conversion that occupies the full top floor. A large double with lots of light and privacy. Gorgeous en suite with two big sash windows which make it architecturally interesting.

THE HOUSE
The house has two main bedrooms plus a spare for guests and then the box room could be a shared office / exercise space.

As well as the en suite there is a family bathroom on the second floor with bath.

Downstairs there is an open plan lounge diner; great kitchen conservatory and big garden perfect for growing veges.

Nb. Photos are the original estate agent ones - i have photos from the viewing I can share but it was a bit messy - main areas will be furnished / bedroom unfurnished.

THE AREA
It’s in a lovely spot near blondies cafe and brewery just off Lea Bridge road. The bars and cafes of Francis road / Leyton midland / st James street are close by. Leyton (central line)and Walthamstow (Victoria line) underground stations are a 9 min bus / 6 min bike ride away, as is chatsworth road / Homerton.

THE SHARE
You’d be sharing with me - Nat - i work as a freelance producer, when I’m off I tend to volunteer a couple of times a week at an organic farm. I’m interested in permaculture and am working on developing side projects around, land, art and community.

I am pretty social always have something interesting popping up to go to talks, music, theatre, exhibitions. I also enjoy painting / sculpture just generally making things.

I like my home to be comfortable and welcoming, tidy and clean but not clinical. I am respectful and open minded. I love to cook, have a chat over a tea or a wine. Relax with a book, music, a film. I used to live in spain and speak Spanish.

I’d love to live with someone on a similar wavelength, open in terms of age, gender, LGBTQ+ friendly. I’m open to couples but the price would be slightly higher.
