I've lived here for 1 year - now going away to travel. This is hands down the best place I have ever lived in, and I've lived in some amazing places from countryside barn conversions to bustling city life bliss. This has the best of ALL worlds. I didn't want to live in a city again - but it's super quiet here. And yet during the day you've got all the handy amenities PLUS MORE. I've got to know the area very well so can help you settle in and you'd be in good & safe hands with my flatmate Josephine.

The price will depend on how long you're staying. If it's less than 2 months then let me know; the price listed is for at least 2 months, but you're welcome to stay just for 2 weeks if that's what you're looking for.

Across the road is the Escape & Midsummer shopping centre, cinema, bowling, roller skating, but you cannot ever hear any noise from it. Most shops or restaurants you can think of is probably within a 10 min walk, plus lots of fun activities too. A large Sainsburys & M&S food is 20 min & 5 min walk respectively. The train station is 5 min bus (bus stop outside our building entrance, with buses every 5 mins) or 20 min walk, train is 30 min to central london.

The secret sauce is the 180 view of nature & sunsets from the apartment private balcony, and the adjoining floor to ceiling window overlooking the same view.

Amongst the 9 communal areas are a roof top terrace & outdoor kitchen, games room, lounges, work area, work booths, fountain & garden, post room & reception lounge, 24 hr gym.

You can meet new people all the time, or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The first video in the attachment is not the exact apartment but it is the same layout and furniture, but our view is much better. That video apt is overlooking the inner courtyard garden but our view is of the horizon where you get to watch the sunset every night.

My flatmate, who you will be sharing with is an international student looking for an industry placement. I was born & bred here in east london, and we get on very well. We've become friends for life, even though I have disappointed her of my moving out.

If there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to ask. It's definitely worth your while to come and give us a visit. I work from home so you can generally come and visit anytime.

***Added notes:

Please note this is not a live in landlord situation so bills are added. For the last year, rent has been £870 each for me & Josephine, with bills it’s been about £1000 average, each. The landlord has just notified us that he wants to increase the rent by £50 total but we are contesting it because we are such good tenants and we’ve brought many people here. So if he doesn’t budge, then it would be £1025 approx, from Nov.
That's including council tax & WiFi.
If you wanted to come on a temporary basis before the *possible* Nov rent increase, you can also just do that and stay for a month or 2.

The vibe of living here: I met josephine only just before we moved in together and I’ve honestly fallen in love - I know we will be life long friends. We love company - but we love our alone time. Some of our best times have been sitting in the living room not speaking just chilling silently. But there’s also times we have laughed a lot. Joey likes to bring friends home sometimes and I get to meet more people. We both try to be respectful of each others preferences even if we don’t agree or understand each others preferences. And conversely we’ll often put up with things to allow each other to live the way the other wants to live. Our motto has been - as little rules as possible - but when we need to - we talk it out & find an agreement.
