Hi there- we are two working professionals (both women; 26, 27) looking for a third woman to join us, because our wonderful third flatmate sadly found a job elsewhere (go her in this economy🍾). While we’d prefer a fellow working individual, we are also considering postgraduate students, but please note that you’ll be expected to pay 1/3 of the council tax! You will need a UK guarantor to become a tenant and undergo paperwork checks from our landlady. The room is available from 1 Nov!

Our home is a small, but cozy property, with a shared living room, which we like to use for post-work venting sessions, the odd movie night, or Sunday Brunch (to give you an idea of the vibe we are looking for 😉); a shared bathroom, and a little backyard with sun chairs. We have on street parking available for those who drive.

The property lies 5 minutes on foot from the train station, 12 minutes from the City Center/Broad Street and 2 minutes from the river bank walk around osney Island, where you‘ll find a number of nice pubs, from there it is a ca. 20 min stroll to Port Meadow.

Our landlady lives in Jericho, does everything by the books, and has been very responsive and helpful, so it‘s been a very positive renting experience for the past year.

You will also need to contribute 1/3 of the flat deposit which is £923 (you will receive the money back when you exit the contract, the money is stored securely in a licensed holding account that our landlady cannot without legal grounds access).
