Large loft room available in house share with one other female in Marple Bridge. Located on Town Street - a small, quaint high street, close to shops, delis, cafes & pubs. The 3 floor property is located opposite the river and a 2 minute walk from a large park, 5 minute walk to the train station, where you can catch a 24 minute train into Manchester and with direct links to Sheffield and the Peak District.
There is a parking space which a new tenant can use as I don’t drive!
The property is unfurnished, but I have certain things like a sofa etc, but you will need to provide a bed and any furniture you need for your room.
Bills come to around £190 per month each.
You will be sharing with me (Emma), I am a 37 year old yoga teacher and events organiser and I have a 6 year old whippet named Dot who lives with me 50% of the time (I co-parent with my ex). She is very calm and friendly to live with, but it is preferred that the new tenant does not have a pet. My current housemate is moving out as she is buying a place locally as she loved the area so much!
I work a mix of from home, and in local venues and in Manchester.
There is a third bedroom, that could be used as an office if you would from home!
I am looking for a housemate that would like to hang out of an evening, watch some tv, or do some crafts or maybe go for a walk or to one of the local pubs occasionally and would perhaps like to share cooking of meals (not essential!). But I like to feel like it’s a communal household rather than us living individually in our rooms.
This is ideal for someone who likes a quiet life and likes to be close to the city, but also surrounded by nature!
Approx move in date would be 1st November, but this is dependant on the current housemates completion date, but once we confirm a date, we’ll make sure we stick to that date.
You will need to sign onto the tenancy with the letting agents, so a deposit and references will be required. As per the updated tenancy laws, there is no minimum term, just a 2 month notice period if you’re wanting to end the tenancy.
If this interests you, drop me a message to have a chat or arrange a viewing!
