A clean, modern loft-style room designed for a working person, offering a studio-style feel within a tidy, well-maintained home.
The room features a raised single bed with space underneath, creating a practical layout with a desk, storage, and workspace area. There are two built-in wardrobes, plus additional storage including drawers and shelving, giving plenty of room for belongings and in-room food storage.
It also includes a wall-mounted TV and remote-control lighting, making it a comfortable space to relax.
A fridge freezer and microwave are provided to create a more self-contained, room-only living arrangement.
I am self-employed and work from home. The living room is not set up for guest use, which is why this is offered as a room-only arrangement.
The kitchen is available for normal use and food preparation, but I ask that this is arranged with me in advance so we can work around each other's schedules. I do have clear kitchen rules, and anyone using the kitchen will be expected to follow them, particularly regarding cleanliness, tidiness, and proper ventilation. This arrangement has worked very well with both long-term and short-term Airbnb guests.
The house is clean, quiet, and respectful, and would suit a working person or someone with a regular routine who likes their own space.
The property is within easy reach of Wigan town centre, bus station, and both train stations, with excellent links to Manchester, Liverpool, and Blackpool. Free on-street parking is available.
🚭 Strictly non-smoking — no smoking anywhere on the property, including outdoor areas.
🚫 No alcohol allowed in the house — you are welcome to go out and enjoy yourself, but please return respectfully and avoid disturbing others.
