An intelligent, educated and ‘with it’ older lady with reduced mobility and some memory loss is seeking a Sharer for her home to give a mix of 8 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the reassurance and company of having someone else living in her home. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking and sharing an occasional meal (around once a week), taking out bins, laundry, carrying heavier items, prompts and reminders, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a separate annex on the lower ground floor of the property with its own bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and small kitchen. The Sharer can also occasionally use the main kitchen, especially for main meals, and when spending time with the Householder.

The property is in an excellent location just 10 minutes’ walk from Angel underground station.

The lady has a background in TV and film (and has a current project on the go), enjoys going to the cinema, watching TV (eg Slow Horses), listening to Radio 4, and is generally interested in the arts, culture and history.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
