We are looking for someone to replace our housemate who is moving away at the end of April.
(Pics of the bedroom coming this evening!)
The room is a double ensuite bedroom with two large inbuilt wardrobes. It is the largest room in the house, which has 3 bedrooms. The house is an end of terrace townhouse with 3 storeys, with the bedroom on the top floor. We have a shared living room on the 1st floor complete with TV, plants, electric keyboard and pull-up bar. On the ground floor there is spacious shared kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, as well as a study shared with one other person. There is also a downstairs toilet.
The house came unfurnished. Our departing housemate would be happy to sell their furniture to the new housemate to make things easy.
The house is in a quiet area less than 10 minutes from Cambridge station, and 5 minutes from Cambridge Leisure.
Existing housemates: we are two women in our late 20s. I am a professional and my other housemate is a PhD student, both with a science background. We are sociable as a house and like to do things together such as going to the pub or having dinner sometimes. We both enjoy classical music and going to the gym. I am very into cooking and baking, and my housemate is into formula 1. We’d like to live with a considerate and tidy person.
The room is £800 pcm. Wifi is currently £9 each, and energy is £45. Total council tax is £200 pcm which has been split between myself and the outgoing housemate since we both work.
