A warm and friendly older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would like some practical help with tasks such as picking up shopping, cokoing a few meals, washing up, carrying things, light cleaning/tidying and ad hoc errands etc. They also would value the friendly company and reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight.

The accommodation on offer is lovely bright single bedroom with snug area, and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, living spaces and garden.

The property is located on the left side of Chelmsford, 10 mins bus ride, 30-minute walk or 10-minute cycle to the station/city centre. It is in a lovely residential location, backing onto open fields and farmland.

The person enjoys playing the piano, reading, the theatre, cinema and watching nature and arts programmes, plus Strictly Ballroom. They love listening to music – from Led Zeppelin to Sting to Fleetwood Mac. They also enjoy a walk in the garden or going out for a coffee and a chat.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
