I am looking for a housemate to share the lovely house I currently rent. The house is a semi-detached cottage with two bedrooms, one bathroom, living/dining room, office, kitchen and a garden with summer house. There is free on street parking. Bills are not included but very roughly come to around £200 a month per person at the moment (council tax (Band C), electricity, water, wifi).
You would be sharing with myself and my dog, Barney. I work as a vet so am out and about during the day and Barney comes with me. Overnight Barney is in his crate in the living room, he is always up for a fuss from any visitors and a very easy going dog in general.
I don't require the office space (apart from maybe a few boxes stored on the shelves), so is an ideal space for someone working from home, and also a short drive from Bicester for commuting. The village has a local pub, small store/post office for any essentials and lots of walking routes - wellies needed in winter!
When not working, I can be found rambling in the countryside, out at the pub for a drink or a quiz, meeting friends, training dog agility or having a cozy night in front of the fire.
A potential housemate would need to meet the landlords who are lovely, quick with any repairs and haven't increased the rent in my 2 years here, and don't plan to anytime soon. Move in date likely mid-late April/start of May - TBC. Deposit to be discussed with landlord.
If you think you can see yourself staying in this lovely house, pop me a message and I am happy to discuss further/meet a new potential housemate!
