Hi! I’m 37 friendly and queer guy from Turkey/UK and I full-time work from home, (to be) living in a lovely, clean, tidy 2-bed flat with a balcony, bike storage, free parking. The flat is around 67 sq. m. I’m looking for a short term lodger for my spare spacious bedroom starting from mid March. The flat is fully furnished and you have access all the utilities and common areas. It is located on the top floor with lift access. The location is just between massive green spaces of Clapham Common and Tooting Commons in a safe residential area. 10-15 min straight walk to Clapham Common tube station (Northern line, 13 min to central London) and Balham railway station. All kind of amenities, stores and restaurants are nearby in popular Balham High Road and Balham Hill. I know the area well so can also give advice. The person should be a clean, tidy, quiet and preferably works from office 9-5. LGBTQ candidates would also be a reason of preference. I care about the suitable person to live with rather than making profits. Therefore, the rent is quite reasonable. I have 12 years old Maine Coon independent healthy indoor cat. She is very easy to take care of for someone who has/had a cat or for someone lived with a cat before. I expect the flat mate to take care of Maisie and the flat whilst I am away for business and leisure trips (which is quite frequent). For this specific reason, the rent is very reasonably priced, plus bills and standard deposit as 1 month`s rent (negotiable). For the time that I am home, I will have the full responsibility of the cat. Please note that I did not physically moved in yet to the location as this is going to happen at mid Feb (upon my purchase completion) so viewings can happen after mid Feb. The first set of 4 photos are belong to my current flat so you may consider the furniture in the next set of pictures inside the flat. Most of furniture in the second set of photos will be taken by outgoing owner and new furniture will be bought based on need. If you need a short term place (1 month to 6 months) to stay and are good with cats, this is a great opportunity not to miss. Note: Longer term tenancy can be considered with the revised rent if there is a good match to live in long term. Please note that there will be a break clause in the contract for both sides in the case of a not good match with 1 month notice.
