Due to personal circumstances, I am moving out, which is sad, but the good news is you have the opportunity to replace me and live here!

The important details:

Room:

It's a great sized double room with more than enough space to fit as much furniture as you need - I currently have a bookcase, chest of drawers, two bedside tables and a wardrobe. And there's still enough space for a desk etc. if working from home.

The wardrobe and bed will stay in the room. I'd be happy to discuss leaving any of the other furniture. Also, the landlord would be happy to chat about getting other furniture if required.

The room is available immediately.

House:

The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac, semi-detached, and is extremely spacious.

A huge modern kitchen/dining room with lots of room to cook/entertain (whenever we can again).

The living room has two huge sofas, perfect for relaxing and chilling out, and there is another big dining table at the far end of the living room.

There's a nice, modern bathroom that has just been retiled and has a bath/shower set-up.

There is also a spareroom in the house, which is brilliant for having guests over - I know we can't at the moment, but it's such a good bonus whenever people can stay over! The spareroom also doubles as an office for those WFH. I currently work in there, and it's a fab space if you don't always want to work in your room.

There is also an absolutely massive garden, which I am very gutted about not being able to utilise in the summer - think huge, big garden parties/BBQs!

Housemates

You will be living with two fab housemates in Tom and Joe. Tom works in comms and Joe is a civil servant - they're both working from home at the moment, but as the house is very big, three people can work and live without getting on top of each other really easily.

It's very much a home, and not just seen as a place to sleep, but both Tom and Joe are very chilled and laidback about this sort of thing.

It's very much a house where you can chill in your room, hang together for a movie/board game/glass (bottle) of wine or have a house dinner now and again - the perfect setup!

There is also a cute cat called Oliver who lives in the house too!

FYI - current housemates are LGBT. Everyone is welcome to live here but is important you are an ally or LGBT.

Rent

£750pcm, which is a great price for everything you get and all the space available. Bills are around £70-90 on top.

Transport/Amenities

You have an array of transport choices while living here:

Balham tube is a 10-15mins walk
Streatham Hill station is 5-10 mins walk
There are 4 or 5 different buses that go in all directions just a few mins walk from the house as well.

Streatham High Street is just a few minutes walk away so you're right beside shops/supermarkets as well. Huge supermarkets (Waitrose/Sainsburys) are 10-15mins walk away in Balham.
