A room is available in a spacious apartment on Bedford road in Balham. Pubs, bars, coffee spots, shops, Balham tube station and gyms are all within a 2-3 minute walk from the apartment.
My friend and I have recently secured this property and we’re looking for a third person to live with. *Apartment will be furnished upon arrival*
We are both easy going 28 year old guys who are making our first move to London because of our love for the city. We enjoy watching sports, keeping fit, trips to the pub and exploring what London has to offer. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who would be a friend, rather than just a flat mate and is keen to get involved within house activities from time to time. We tend to be more relaxed (gym, cook meals, film nights) in the week but will tend to be out on weekends, whether that be down the pub, trying a new cuisine, or having a night out. We respect each other’s space and appreciate that you may have your own circles in London.
Greg - works in sales. Supports Aston Villa, loves golf, cricket & F1. Known to enjoy a fancy craft beer from time to time. Enjoys the gym and running in the week but enjoys weekends out and about. Also enjoys the odd music gig.
Dan - works in finance. Supports Wolves, loves skiing and has a life goal to get a Knights card at Archer Street on Northcote Road (if you know then you know). Enjoys keeping fit but enjoys a beer on a weekend.
The property is yet to be furnished however the pair of us will be kitting the apartment out with a brand new sofa, big projector (for the footie!) TV, dining table etc. Part of the deal is that you won’t have to contribute to furnishing the rest of the apartment. We can discuss what to do with your room as that will be your preference.
There is a huge living room (must see as this is really something else!), well kitted out kitchen and a nice terrace for summer BBQs.
The property entrance is gated with code access so it is very secure.
The room on offer will also have sole access to the landing cupboard (large storage space) which leaves more space in the room for whatever you desire. The room is big enough for a double bed and plenty of extra space for storage or an office desk given the extra landing cupboard provided.
Bills - approx £100 per month (council tax + gas & electric).
WFH - There will be more than enough space in the apartment for WFH. A desk can be set up in the living room if required due to the very large living space. This would be solely your space to work from, as Greg will be full time in the office with Dan working from his bedroom 2 days a week.
