We have a lovely, quiet double bedroom available from 1 October in our beautiful and well-maintained flat on Brixton Hill.

The flat is bright, spacious and fully equipped. One of its best features is the large, wonderfully bright kitchen, which has plenty of storage space and comes fully equipped with all the appliances and kitchen utensils you need.

There are also two large modern bathrooms, both with toilets – particularly convenient in a five-bedroom flat.

Everything is kept clean and tidy, with a professional cleaner visiting once a week to clean all the communal areas.

Location

The flat is in Brixton Hill (SW2 1EY), with excellent transport connections and easy access to everything Brixton has to offer.

Brixton Underground Station is just three bus stops away, giving you access to the Victoria line and extremely quick connections into Central London. There are numerous bus routes passing close to the flat, providing direct connections to many other parts of London.

Alternatively, Brixton Station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the flat.

Living this close to Brixton means you have a fantastic selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs, shops, markets and entertainment within easy reach.

For outdoor space, Brockwell Park is less than a 10-minute walk away – perfect for walking, running, exercising or simply relaxing on a sunny day.

Food shopping couldn't be easier, with a Tesco Express immediately next to the building.

The Room & Flatmates

The bedroom is extremely quiet, as it faces away from Brixton Hill and benefits from highly effective double glazing – a real advantage in such a well-connected location.

It comes fully furnished with everything shown in the photographs, including a good-quality wardrobe with built-in drawers, desk and chair, bookcase and other bedroom furniture.

This is a five-bedroom flat, so you would be sharing with four other flatmates. The current flatmates are all working professionals: three males aged 27, 28 and 32, and one female aged 29.

The flat would ideally suit a non-smoking professional or international student looking for a clean, comfortable and well-maintained home with excellent access to Central London.

Please note that the room is for single occupancy only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept couples.

Rent & Bills

The rent is £220 per week (£953.33 per calendar month) and includes:

Weekly professional cleaning of the communal areas

There are no additional household bills to pay.

The total deposit is equivalent to four weeks' rent (£880) and will be protected through the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).

To reserve the room, you would initially pay £220, equivalent to one week's rent. One day before you move in, you would then pay:

£660 – the remaining three weeks of the deposit
£953.33 – your first month's rent in advance

So, to summarise:

To reserve the room: £220
One day before move-in: £1,613.33 (£660 remaining deposit + £953.33 first month's rent)

From then onwards, the monthly rent of £953.33 is due on the 1st of each month, payable in advance by bank transfer.

Length of Stay

The minimum stay is one month, and we require four weeks' notice when you decide to leave.

Your deposit will be held in the government-backed Deposit Protection Service (DPS).
