**Overview and location:

Room in a quiet, friendly flat close to the local amenities in Tooting. Approximately five minutes walk from Tooting Thameslink station; about ten from Tooting Broadway underground; fifteen to St. George’s Hospital/University (slow walking speed). Nearest bus stop: Amen Corner.

The area has a large Lidl and Sainsbury's nearby, as well as a Sainsbury Local right around the corner - in addition to greengrocers at Tooting Market. Plenty of gym options, pound stores, charity shops, and affordable restaurants for South Asian food especially. There's a green space a 5-10 min walk and Tooting Common 15-20 min walk away (or a short bus journey).

**About us:

Current housemates (two females and one male, 2 British and 1 American - Jay, Kelsey and Oni) ranging from late 20s to late 30s, and work in Acting/IT, Education/Charity and Therapy. Our ideal housemate is someone who is clean, tidy and generally clears up after themselves. Also, someone who is LGBTQ+/ LGBTQ+ ally is welcome, all genders welcome.

We very much treat the place like our home, and get on well, and want someone who fits in. We tend to keep a board of who's in/out and have coped with shift-working housemates in the past. We're not a party house but do chat to each other when we see each other.

** About the flat

The flat is on a quiet road and has one full bathroom (bath/shower, WC) and one half (WC only), a washing machine and tumble drier and a living room and a kitchen.

Room comes with double bed/bookshelf/wardrobe. We also have lofts for storage. The Landlord is pretty decent with repairs.

- Internet/Broadband - £7.50
- Water - £34.25
- Gas & Electricity – Approx £45 (Fluctuates between summer & winter months)
- Cleaner - £15-20 (we hire a cleaner for the communal areas typically once a month, but not set in stone)

We have a splitwise account so if we buy anything for the flat we add it to that to keep it fair e, g, toilet rolls, kitchen towels etc.
