Hi! We are Tom, Claudia & 2 cats Bruna and Montse-Jo. We are sadly saying goodbye to our friend and housemate and so have a double room in our lovely house coming up.

We are a couple (and two cats who don't have much choice in the matter), we like to have a friendly environment in the house and we were very lucky to find amazing flatmates in the last few years. We'd often cook for each other, watch some TV together & hang out with friends around the lovely Alston Works warehouse. That said we all really enjoy our own space and love a bit of quiet too. We're looking for someone who enjoys both these aspects of life.

The Room:
Comes with a double bed. It has a small skylight. It's south-west facing so gets the best of the day's sun. The room is approximately 4.5m long by 2.75m wide with a sloping ceiling that's 3.5m at it's highest point.

The House:
Has all the bedrooms upstairs. There are two toilets in the house and one nifty power shower. Downstairs is one very big open plan area with the kitchen at one end and a spacious dining table and lounge area beyond. This large space is one of the property's best points. You will always be able to find space downstairs to hang out. Outside the front door we have been building a container garden. In the summer it's lovely to sit out there with a drink, and there will be lots of spring bulbs popping up there soon.

Who we are:
One of us works in film and one of us is a social worker. We do yoga together sometimes, and love a good weekend walk. We've also got an allotment which is great fun too.

Who we are looking for:
A kind, intelligent, respectful person who doesn't work from home much or at all. LGBTQAI+ people are very wellcome in our home and extended community <3

We love the odd gathering of friends but are certainly not a party house. We're respectful of a quieter volume after 10.30pm on weeknights.

The Area:
Is fantastic if you like green space like we do. You're truly on the northern edge of London. Walk two minutes out the front door and there's nothing but fields, fields and woodland til you reach the M25. There's a high street & a Waitrose five minutes away with most of your basics covered along with a couple of decent coffee and pizza places. Depending on the length of your legs you are a 10-15 minute walk from High Barnet tube, top of the northern line!
