An older lady is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance of having someone in her home overnight. She is very independent, would also like some general practical help around the home such as hanging the washing on the line (and taking it down), light housework (including hoovering) and tidying, changing the bed, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom with its own bathroom (shower over the bath) and shared use of the kitchen, living space and lovely garden. It is a clean and tidy home.

The property is conveniently located 8-10 minutes’ walk from Cockfosters Station (Picadilly Line).

The lady is very ‘with it’ and has a wide range of interests and enjoys an interesting conversation. She listens to Radio 4, will watch a few interesting programmes, enjoys playing bridge, Scrabble and other card games, and the company of her family and friends.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests. Please note that pork, shellfish and alcohol are not permitted in this home.
