We have a lovely furnished double-bed room to rent in Batheaston.
We are a relaxed, easy-going house and we are looking for someone we would get along with to create a warm homely atmosphere.
The house would probably best suit a young professional or post-graduate, but we are open to alternatives. It would be best if you have a car and/or are a keen cyclist, as the house is not central to Bath. We very much enjoy this as the air is fresh and the area is relaxing, but a car is handy for getting to the shops and work. There is free parking outside the house with no permit required, and if you work at the uni there is a convenient back road you can take to avoid the congestion in the center.
The area is quiet and offers stunning views onto Solsbury Hill, ideal for a lovely walk. There a few pubs nearby and a couple of local convenience stores for if you need some milk etc. and the lovely breakfast/lunch cafe, Gather, within a 5 minute walking distance.
Our preferred way to get into town is by cycling, as there is a wonderful traffic free route along the canal. But if that isn’t your thing a bus stop located right outside the house which goes straight to the centre and Bath Railway Station.
We have a spacious living room, with really comfy sofas. We also have a big rear garden with stunning views which really comes into its element in summer for those who enjoy hanging out in the sun or having a BBQ.
The kitchen is very spacious, and well equipped (including a dish washer!!), with an attached dining room so there's plenty of space to spread out in and cook delicious dinners.
