Hi. I have a spare room or maybe rooms in a 4 bed family home. 1 single ( pictured) one double and possibly a double downstairs room. Quiet clean and tidy with nice views and good transport links to bath.( 20 minutes to the centre.) It has off street parking, fair size garden with large patio, washing machine Wi-Fi, garage, basement etc but only one bathroom with shower and oversized bath. dining room and living room that has been knocked into one would make a good size area if you were to put a bed in there as it maybe gets used a hour a day if that, and I wouldn’t particularly miss it. My boys are if here usually down in their club house at the bottom of the garden or in their rooms . . So potentially that is an option.
I am reorganising my business and the extra income would help take some pressure off.
I have a cat but have also had dogs living with me but she tends to mess in the house when dogs are here, so although I’m not against dogs, I am against clearing up her mess every day. Make of that what you will.
I smoke, but not in the house.
My partner lives in Glastonbury. Who is not very well of late. I travel to Glastonbury regularly and sometimes stay over there.
This eats to the chore time, and the bloody grass cutting. House is not dirty by any means its clean and tidy.
So maybe potential for somebody to take on the grass cutting and hoovering say for a reduction in rent as I do pay someone to cut the grass.
Around 30 to 60 professional ideally. I do drink now and then and would rather have someone who’s nearer my age who doesn’t mind the odd pub trip or a bbq on the patio. I think it’s better to have that than someone who keeps them selves out of the way. But that’s by no means a requirement.
I do have other adds and have mentioned it to a few people so may remove add at any time.
No minimum stay.
The house is empty for a lot of the time, all day mostly and I’m back from work late. Or in and out to Glastonbury. Boys have a car and regularly stay at mums.
Having not rented a room before I don’t know the finer details of how it’s done and I’m sure I’ve probably not put in this add the usual stuff landlord would put. But everything will be above board and legal once I’ve looked at this small print.
A trial period would be ideal for me, but again having never done this before I’m not sure of the procedure if there even is one, or how that would work. So I’d play it by ear.
£550 ( negotiable ) for the small room, it’s unfurnished at the moment, but if you want it furnished, you tell me what you want and I will get it.
. Bills included. If anyone is interested in any other arrangements, I would only want the going rate for an equivalent room or rooms or perhaps a bit cheaper if it helps. Hopefully one day I will be repaid by our lord in heaven😄 ( not religious at all)
Easy in and easy out. Would want a months deposit, but I’ve seen the adds on here that say no deposit, negotiable again.
Basically I have a house and it’s got rooms, I would rent one possibly 2 It all just depends.
