Hi, I’m looking for a housemate in my lovely 2 bed house in Bath. Ideally, I’m hoping for someone either female or queer who loves animals as I have a large fluffy and very friendly dog (who does not come upstairs so respects your own space), and it would be nice to spend some nights-in together as friends as well. Not a party house, but equally happy to have friends round etc! My dog is not good with cats, but pending a successful meet he could live with another dog as he loves them. This would however have to be agreed on by my landlord.
The house is along a quiet cul-de-sac with permit parking, the property is located a 20 minute level walk from the city centre, and is on the RUH hospital bus route meaning that there are very regular buses to town (about 10 mins) and to the RUH (5 min drive). It’s a short walk from LIDL, costa, green spaces and the bus routes to both Bath Spa and Bath uni campuses. This makes it great for either a student, or a professional working in Bath (and especially the hospital!)
The room is a large double with two big windows, and comes unfurnished. Honestly the photos don’t do how lovely the room is justice. The house has spacious living areas downstairs, as well as a suntrap courtyard garden. There is a large bathroom with a bath and shower to be shared between the two of us.
A bit about me: I am a 29 year old non-binary human (AFAB- pronouns they/them). I love nature, wild swimming, creativity through writing and I love long walks, drag or spoken poetry nights and rarely drink- but I have no problem with your choice! I do vape. I am vegetarian, politically liberal (🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🇵🇸)
and currently work as a support worker and writer. I am starting university this year to study Occupational Therapy. I’ll quickly mention that I do have ADHD and some physical health problems, and so some days I may not be too sociable, but this also means that the house is a safe and non-judgemental zone for everyone (I hope!). I like to think that I am really friendly, flexible and easy to get along with.
It would be nice to meet and hang out together a couple of times before making a decision so we’re confident we’re a good match. The tenancy would be pending references and will go through my landlord. DBS accepted.
