RCA or Imperial College - large double bedroom + study, 3 min walk to Battersea campus
A short walk from the RCA's Battersea campus. Large, very light double bedroom with its own study area, in a newly renovated house in a private, secure gated development beside Battersea Park.
Available for the full academic year from 1 September. We've hosted a Royal College of Art student every year for the past seven years and are happy to answer questions by video call if you're arriving from overseas- there's a walkthrough video on this listing.
The room: solid wood floors, newly decorated, excellent desk and work space, extensive fitted storage, and completely quiet. Takes a large double or two singles. Private walk-in shower room with WC and basin, shared with one other person only.
The house: newly refurbished open-plan kitchen/dining/reception opening onto a garden. High security, gated.
Included in the rent: all bills, fast wifi, and a cleaner once a week.
No UK guarantor required. We're happy to arrange rent termly or in advance if that's easier from abroad.
Getting around: Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations reach Victoria in about seven minutes; Battersea Power Station (Northern line) and Sloane Square are close. The King's Road, the river and the park are all a few minutes on foot. Coop, pharmacy, post office and dry cleaner 3–5 minutes walk away.
Us: two women working in the arts — easy-going, sociable, and respectful of quiet during deadline season. Female household.
