Two bed flat in extraordinary location.
I’m looking for new tenants to replace me and my partner Emily. Our contract is finished but I have offered to help the landlord find new tenants, since we’ve ended up being friends. So this is my honest first-hand description as there is no financial incentive for me.
We’ve lived very happily here for 16 years with the biggest selling point being the location. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to London Bridge station. Other great features are are the large living room with lots of natural light (which we’ve used as a bedroom at times) leading to a large balcony, where we’ve grown vegetables and lots of nice plants over the years. There are several big cupboards, so storage is good throughout. The area is amazingly quiet for somewhere so central. Neighbours have never been a problem.
It’s a quirky layout, designed in the 1970s. The kitchen is big enough to eat in and great for socialising. The single bedroom is small, as they usually are. But overall it’s got quite a cosy, friendly vibe and we’ve enjoyed it.
All pictures provided are from our time at the flat, so furniture and general appearance will be slightly different, especially as the landlord is currently doing some renovations now that we’ve left.
Bills to be covered separately in the new tenant’s name. Council tax band is B.
EPC rating is around C or D I’d imagine.
