Hello, we are Anton and Sarah, two friends that met at LSE doing the same masters program in Applied Social Data Science three years ago. Sarah is now a quantitative behaviour researcher at JP Morgan and Anton is a Data Scientist at TFL so while yes we are nerds, we promise we aren’t that bad.

The house is in a nice neighbourhood right next to the ecological park and within walking distance of the river. It is also 15 minute walk from both a Sainsbury’s and a Tesco Extra as well as other stores within the shopping centre. You may notice the room is quite small - since there is not a whole lot of storage in your room you are welcome to store anything you don’t need frequent access too, such a suitcases, in either of our rooms. Also the bathroom is shared with only one other person and the house has a large, bright communal living room and a modern kitchen with an induction stove, a dishwasher and three different types of coffee makers (take your pick!) We have been living in London for three years so our house is outfitted with most things like kitchen utensils, toaster, kettle etc which you are free to use as well. The house also has a back patio which is nice in the warmer months and has a work station in the living room with a desk, two screens and webcam which you are welcome to use a few days of the week. Sarah works from home twice a week.

Now a little bit about us! We are both fairly busy, so in and out of the house quite often but when we are home we like to spend time in the living room so feel free to do the same. We are currently sitting in the oh so nicely described living room and do not know what to say about ourselves. While we are both “fairly busy” when asked what we do with our spare time Anton says that he has no idea what to say about himself. However, he claims to like watching nerdy Youtube videos (and recommends something called the Unfinished London series). He also has been a teacher for a while and still very passionate about learning and teaching of any sorts (at least that’s what he says….). As for Sarah, she loves to ride horses, rock climb and pretends to go for runs. But don’t let the first three activities fool you, she is not sporty and would be perfectly happy to stay in and play board games or have a Netflix marathon.

Ideally we would like someone we can have lovely conversations with in the evening, who is tidy and wouldn’t be opposed to a bit of banter. If this sounds like you please feel free to reach out and tell us a bit about yourself, we would love to meet you.
