3-bed all-female flat (20-something professionals) in Hackney.
You will be signing a long-term tenancy (until March next year). Rent is £833/month and all extra bills are about £150/month (including WiFi). £1000 deposit and first month rent paid by move-in required.
Move-in from 24 April.
Opposite the Cambridge Heath overground (Weaver Line). 10 mins walk to Broadway Market and Victoria Park. 7 mins walk to Bethnal Green tube station (Central Line). 25 mins walk to Brick Lane.
Shared bathroom, shower over bath. The room is small, (NB) no space for a desk! Double bed. There is storage space under the bed, a built-in clothing cupboard in the room and a small chest of drawers at the bottom of the bed. We also store coats and shoes in a cupboard in the living room.
Large south-facing windows in the living room and your room. There is no official balcony but we have a cute bench and mat outside our door that gets south-facing sun that acts like a little balcony into the building courtyard. Con: the road gets loud at night so I sleep with ear plugs. Pro: your room window faces the slightly quieter building courtyard. Building parking available. No garden but Vic Park and London Fields are so close!!
Your roomies are a Kiwi and an Aussie, a product manager in tech and consultant in sustainability. We have our own lives but we also do things together. We’re looking for someone friendly and fun and who keeps the space clean and tidy. We respect quiet hours in the flat. But having friends over for dinner or brunch is fine! The girls love getting outside and experiencing cultural things in London, vintage shopping, pubs and the odd dance/music event.
The girls in the flat next to us are really lovely, also late 20s professionals, we have a WhatsApp group with them and cute community vibes.
